Our newest crop is probably our brightest. These Detroit red beets are spectacular in taste and visually stunning. The beets have proven to be fast growing (12-21 days) and produce one of the most visually stunning microgreens we grow.

These tiny powerhouses contain vitamins A, B, C, E and K along with Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Zinc. Trace Elements, and antioxidants that have anti-inflammatory and natural detoxification properties. The red pigment found in beets and also the leafy Detroit red beets, called Lycopene, is believed to reduce the risk of several types of cancer.

Great fun to grow and consume, our red beet microgreens will be a hit. Kits now available here.

Picture5 days from seed under new LED lighting
With all of our choices of microgreens we now offer a mix of several quick growing, spicy tasting microgreens that allow you to add to your dishes, toppings and salads an instant variety for your dishes. The seed mix will be available to grow in kits featuring our great new indoor LED light for growing over the winter or indoor season. The addition of the LED will keep you in crops all year long.

The spicy mix features a blend of broccoli, kale, kohlrabi, arugula, red cabbage and mustards. This great looking assortment is not only visually appealing due to the blends or purples, reds, and greens but stimulating due to the distinct flavors imparted by this diverse mix. Extremely fast growing choice as we like to harvest this at 6 days. You can harvest as early as 5 days or let them grow our for up to 10. Photos below are at 6-7 days versus the top photo at 5 days.
