A Green Pea Forest ... Wild Microgreen Action

As an experiment we ordered some sprouting green peas to see if we could get some larger microgreens for use.  The green peas arrived and the results are now ready after exactly 14 days from seed.  We planted them in a small 8oz deli container with an overnight soak to awaken the seeds.  The results were simply astounding ...

Within a week, the root mass below our media had created a large "mat" and pushed our layer of WonderSoil over the top lip of the container.  As the peas continued to grow, tendrils emerged that made the upper section into a cohesive forest of peas ...  wild and beautiful action for sure!!!  


Not only was the growth amazing, the microgreens had the taste of tender green peas.  The Wonderful World of Microgreens ....
