Ann Wigmore based her ideas and processes on "biogenic" substances. Biogenic refers to natural sources of of vitamins, minerals, enzymes and amino acids (protein). She believed the biogenic substances coming from live natural sources transferred their life energy to your body. Also the basis of our Qi line of microgreens and now sprouts.

Our newest Qi sprout mix is comprised of mung beans and lentils. Both considered super sources of nutrition and another great source of soluble fibers. Both of our Qi mixes, mung and wheat berry, are great tasting and extremely quick sprouting. Both mixes can be ready to eat in 1-3 days including an overnight soak.

We have selected our mixes to maximize the biogenic substances available from these live selections. The following are a short list of the available highlights:

wheat berries - high in protein and soluble fiber vitamins B1 and B3; and the minerals magnesium, phosphorus, copper, manganese and selenium

mung beans - high in protein and soluble fiber, Vit A, B, C, K, Thiamin, Niacin,  nutrients including: manganese, potassium, magnesium, folate, copper, zinc

lentils - High in protein very low in Saturated Fat, Cholesterol and Sodium. It is also a good source of Vitamin C, Folate and Manganese, Thiamin, Iron, Phosphorus and Copper

You can order both kits now in our store, we have available 2 seed packs per kit so you can mix and match. Our Qi Sprout kits include a reusable sprouting bag and two 4 ounce packs of organic and non GMO quality sprouting seeds.
