We decided last week to grow out some of our faster growing microgreen crops to see what 7 days could produce. We took our buckwheat lettuce and radish blend seeds and started last Tues. The buckwheat lettuce seeds were soaked overnight while the radish blend was simply put in the dark and misted. After the overnight soaking, we put the buckwheat seeds into their tray and placed them with the radish seeds to grow. After 3 days of darkness, both trays were over 1" high so we put them on our window growing rack. Here are the pics of the two trays just before harvesting today. We just harvested both trays and combined them in a recycled salad container from our local costco (chicken caesar is what we have here). This is what the harvest looked like ... Just an amazing result from our Mini Farm-in-a-Box kit ...
