First Crop

OK ... Here we go ...  first day after unboxing and reading the included instructions ...  included instructions and photos are excellent and hold your hand to get this process done right ...  I used the included test strips and found my tap water to be a little high so adjusted the pH with a few drops of lemon from our tree and got the water down to an acceptable range for our seeds.

The first crop I chose was broccoli and the photo at the right of our our tray that  was seeded with the initial pack of seeds that came with our kit.  The mat was watered, seeds spread, and final misting to container and seeds done for our initial crop of microgreens.   We'll post in a few days to chronicle this first crop.
