First Harvest using secret "soil"

Results were more than encouraging ... we got over 2 times the weight of microgreens using our secret (will be offering final formula soon) soil to grow microgreens.  I have taken photos and compared with original crops from past weeks.  We grew radish mix and broccoli again to compare and contrast ...

Compare this to earlier harvest, but we harvested almost 3 times the weight and volume along with the taking only 7 days vs 11 on the first crop.  The microgreens were taller, fuller, more flavorful, and deeper colored.

Comparison to Fresh Microgreens from Whole Foods Maui vs our kit grown ....

The microgreens on the left are our fresh harvest of a mix of radish and broccoli vs on the right a sample of fresh microgreens purchased yesterday at Whole Foods Maui.  Notice the length of the stems and colors.  Our microgreens leaves were far larger than those from the fresh mix and in spite of some of the mix having secondary leaves.  This is indicative of more days growing and maturing for the microgreens.  I would say our home grown microgreens are at least the match for the store bought ... imho our kit greens are far superior !!!
