We were inspired by one of customers to retry our pea microgreens using our hydroponic sea solid system. As you can see the results are spectacular, not only are the pea microgreens great looking, but with the addition of the sea solid fertilizer the taste is spectacular !!! The peas at the right were grown for 14 days and they sure responded well to the combination of our hudroponic growing mat and sea solids. And now on to the Sushi. We all know how great microgreens are on sushi, right? How about sushi made with vegies instead of fish ... I saw a Kickstarter Tomato Sushi campaign that really piqued my interest and I shared my fascination. To my surprise, my daughter who is a food and travel blogger emailed me that there is a restaurant in Honolulu, YuZu that features such veggie creations. Upon looking at their website, feast your eyes on this selection of veggie sushi (if in Honolulu you could fully feast !!!) With our dwindling stock of seafood and climate change making large scale agriculture more tenuous by the day, it may be time to rethink some of our old habits and move on to a brighter future of sustainable nutrition delivery rather delivering empty nutrition (food) ...
