Information abounds on the internet touting remedies for virtually any condition ailing you. There is a commonality to the effects of live, whole foods and what they can bring by simply adding them to your diet. Beyond that, there exists anecdotal evidence that certain plants contain elements that can actually help your body heal and become healthy. One noticeable standard is the addition of wheatgrass that has been juiced ... it seems the benefits of the chlorophyll that plant has manufactured has a profound influence on your health. We determined that two microgreen crops, sunflower and buckwheat lettuce contain high amounts of chlorophyll and all allow you to eat them directly and the other nutrients they contain without having to juice them like wheatgrass. With that in mind, we found a mix of sunflower and buckwheat and experimented in our growing kits. Here is a photo of the results after 8 days ... The results were both spectacular and great tasting. We further found that sunflower microgreens contain a full spectrum of amino acids and vitamin D while also providing an abundance of sun energy through the chlorophyll that compares favorably to wheat grass. Unlike wheat grass that cannot be digested properly by us, sunflower microgreens are in an easily eaten and digested form that is both tasty and nutritious. Buckwheat lettuce is very high in bioactive lechithin and helps eliminate deposits on arterial walls. Buckwheat lettuce is also an excellent source of chlorophyll and contains a good amount of B-vitamins like riboflavin and rutin (brain power). We refer to this mix as the Power Cleanse mix due to the highly active nature of its nutritional impacts.
We have produced a kit that contains everything you need to grow three crops of this wonderful mix as pictured and you can get it now in our etsy store ... click on the link and be taken to the listing and pictures of the contents of the kit. Available for shipment now.
