Using our microgreens and sprouts is a big part of the fun at the MicrogreenFarm. Here are two examples of use, one expected and another being a great discovery. The use of our radish (kaiware) microgreens to top off some layered california sushi is what you come to expect from our wonderful microgreens. We used this dish at recent get together and it never fails to deliver both a visual and taste tour de force. Example of an ideal mix of ingredients to deliver a western take on an eastern mainstay, great definition of fusion from Hawaii. This second example just happened as we forgot to eat some of our new wheat berry sprouts. Inadvertently left in a container in the refrigerator for over a week, the sprouts were starting to turn into grass shoots. We simply spread the shoots out in a container and added a little water and light, and look what happened! The wheatgrass is growing without any soil or mats with nutrition from just the seeds. The grass doesn't grow much and are not as robust, but to use this as a table decoration is fabulous. You can put this in any size and shape container.
Thus leading into our new MicroFarm Event Services website. We are currently building out our new Event Services company. We can supply live decorations like the grass pictured above for events and parties. Go to the website and see some examples for ideas.
